The Ridgway Area PTO brings together families, educators, local businesses, and our community to create meaningful opportunities for every Ridgway student.

Our Mission

Supporting Our Schools ยท Strengthening Our Community

Our mission as a parent teacher organization at Ridgway Area School District is to promote and encourage communication between parents, teachers, administration and the community. We seek to provide open lines of communication and transparency. Our goal is to connect families to school and community resources and help students succeed in an environment where students can thrive and grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

Our PTO sponsors numerous events and programs throughout the school year with the help of many dedicated volunteers. Through its fundraising efforts, the PTO furnishes funding not included in the school budget for school equipment, field trips, classroom funds, and activities.
